Hi guys,
There's one "feature" of Windows 2000 that drives me
batty! Let's say I have the "File:Save As" dialog open and
after I navigate to the folder I want to save to I start
typing the file name that I want to "save as" and Windows
starts assuming I want to give the file the name of an
existing file in that folder and I've found that half the
time as I was typing the file name it has lost focus
because it has chosen an existing file name for me! This
is very annoying! How do I disable this "feature" without
disabling the auto-complete feature in my IE 6? HELP!! :((

Once you begin to type
the file name and the annoying list
gets in the way try the Esc key.

Works for me.
