Hey everyone,
I decided to grab my Diablo 2 cd off the shelf after a couple of years and
install it on my new computer. Unfortunately, When I try to run it the
cinematics don't start. On the Blizzard web page it says the problem is most
likely due to ad blocking software on my computer. I know I have ad blocking,
but I don't know how to find it and temporarily disable it. I checked with
Symantec, and it's not from my version of Norton Antivirus. Where should I
look, and how can I disable it?

I have a hard time believing that AD blocking SW is the problem. Google
around and look for more answers. Have you applied the Diablo 2 Windows
patch?
