I just put together a slide show using Powerpoint 2003 and the slide show is
put to music. I have figured out how to burn it to a DVD, but I want it to be
seen in a regular DVD format on a DVD player instead of having to connect a
laptop to a television set. How do I go about this? Is it possible to convert
this file into a video file?

You are about to (and already have started to) receive a bunch of messages
from a variety of companies selling you things that do this. Some people
have had good luck with some of these and some have not. You might read this

Actually some PowerPoint to DVD converters can be found on the Web
like Moyea PowerPoint to DVD Burner Pro (http://www.dvd-ppt-
slideshow.com/ppt_to_dvd/ ) and Leawo PowerPoint to DVD(http://
www.leawo.com/powerpoint-to-dvd/ )and so on,such converters can make a
powerpoint play on a DVD-player TV and at the same time preserve the
complete of the powerpoint originals like
animations,sounds,videos,slide transitions.
