For some reason everytime I click of a folder insted of
opening the folder it opens up the search page and I can't
get it to stop. PLEASE HELP. I am so mad I am about to
say forget Windows all together. HELP!

I tried that but the page the link opens has nothing put
garbage on it. I tried some of the other links and thay
were readable but that one wasent. Any other ideas? If
not then thanks for trying.

sorry about the 'anonymous' reply, I was in a hurry and
didn't notice that it didn't put in my name and e-mail.
The link on the page you sent me to still isnt working. I
can understand enough of it to know where to go with
Registry Editor but not enough to know what to change or
what to change it to. Any help you can give would be
great. Thanks

Happened to me, really annoying. Download and click the .vbs file at
line 18, right: "search opens when double-clicking a folder".

That link should just download a file called folderopenssearch.reg file that
you can import into the registry.

That worked, I just had to 'right click/save as' and
everything worked out great. Thanks!
