Turn off computer

I downloaded and installed the five{5} critical updates
last week and now the "turn off computer" performs the
restart program. The "restart" also performs restart! How
can I turn off my computer saftly.

Try uninstalling the Updates in reverse order to see which one is causing the problem.

Two of the five did not have an uninstall package with
them, so can't uninstall them. I uninstalled the three
that did and the problem still there. The two that I
could not uninstal are "kb831167" and "kb837009". The
ones I uninstalled
were "kb835732" , "kb828741" , "kb837001". Thank you for
