There are settings under "Tools", "Autocorrect". Check all the TABs and
uncheck those with "bulleted lists". You can also hold down the ALT key and
drag the "Bullets" icon off the Formatting Toolbar if you really want to,
but I find it much easier to learn not to climb over the wall than to keep
building a bigger wall!
