Turn off automatic typing

When I type a search word at the search field, the next time I go to the same
field a the same website, the word automatically comes out when I type the
first few letter. This can be bad sometimes as others may see what I had
been searching. How do I turn the feature off and delete any previous
records? Thanks in advance.

See if this is what you are looking for. In IE:
Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab>Auto Complete. Remove the
check in Web Addresses and click Clear Forms to remove what
is currently saved.
