Turn off AutoComplete of Fax numbers

I'd like to display the AutoComplete function from looking at the Fax number of a contact. When I type in someone's name that has an email address and a fax number, I'd like Outlook to pick only the email address. Is there a way to accomplish this

Only by removing the fax number from the Contact fax field or placing an
Alpha character in front of the fax number
