Turn Button On

I have a button on the main sheet programmed to unhide a
second sheet (this is my help file). The button and macro
work fine if the Design Mode is turned off.
Unfortunately, most of the computers at my buisness have
the design mode already turned on, so the button does not
work. Is there a way around this?

Also, I know this is a cheap and dirty way of creating a
help file, but can I create a normal help file for only
this file? I have Excel 2000 with only with VB 6.0.

Tim,

If you save the workbook with design mode turned off, when anyone opens it
should maintain that status, so it should not matter if they default to
design mode (although I am not clear how).

Have you tried this?

Tim,

If macros are disabled - the workbook will open in Design Mode.
In Excel 2k and up the security level is automatically set to high at the
time of installation and workbooks with macros will open with macros
disabled.

Your people must have their machines reset to Medium and than they need
to enable macros when opening the workbook...
