Turbo Navigator 1.47 was removed from the Pricelessware page. I think
it has some sort of malware iirc. Version 146 is clean.

If it has, please tell me about it. I have been running v 1.47 for ages
and it has never phoned home or inserted any "helper" programmes,
trojans, etc. The only problem is that one of its registry keys shows up
in an AdAware scan as Gator, probably because of the name
TurboNaviGATOR.

That might well be what happened Mike. I'm really hazy in the exacts.
I recall removing it from my site after a discussion about it here.

Does anyone else recall the specifics?

This is what Adaware showed on or about 2003-05-20:

Ad-Aware on the other hand has identified both an object and a
registry key.

Anybody know a resouce for TurboNavigator 1.46. I installed 1.47 over
1.46 on my Dell laptop runnning Win 98SE, and 1.47 won't even run. I
thought I stll had my copy of 1.46, but I guess I deleted it in a disk
cleaning fit.

Thanks!
