Yes, it is a delivery mechanism for the Remote Desktop Client (activeX version). Users connect to the IIS page, download the ActiveX Remote Desktop Client and connect with the settings defined in the default.htm page

Users connect to the IIS Server via port 80 or 443 (HTTP or HTTPS) then to the terminal server on port 3389
