Hello.
Any information or help you could offer would be greatly
appreciated...
We have several terminal servers that various clients are connecting
to via the Internet.
We would like to ONLY connect the clients default printer.
Many of our clients have 10 - 15 printers attached when they connect,
so you can see that this is a drain on resources and causes trouble in
other areas as well.
Is there some kind of script or custom app that you have or can write
that causes Terminal Server to ONLY connect the clients default
printer and no other??
I realize there are solutions such as Screwdrivers out there, BUT, we
are taking the distributed risk approach. Meaning, we have many
inexpensive servers to support our user base.
This makes Tricerat (and others) approach to pricing, impractical for
us, since our servers have only 30 - 40 users connecting to them; but
we have 8 servers!
There must be some way to make TS "ignore" windows printer mapping,
EXCEPT for the clients default printer, or some other approach!
Thanks,
Mike
