Hi All,

How do you keep a client printer installed with Terminal Services/Remote
Application Server.?

Some of our clients have printer(s) not currently installed on W2K
Server. We have been able to map client printers as long as the driver came
with W2K, but have been unsuccessful keeping other drivers available so that
newer printers will be recognized and mapped when a client session is
connected.

Again, this problem only happens with newer printers; not those for which
drivers came with W2K. We have successfully mapped most older models, such
as HP II/III, HP 4/4SI, HP 5/5SI, etc. Basically anything older than 1999,
that was included in the install.

We have been able to install newer drivers on active sessions, but when
the user logs out and back in again, *poof*... it is gone.

Ideas?

TIA.

Thanks to any who have answered... thus far I haven't yet seen any posts
here.

I received my answer from someone elses questions and it was dead on:
