TS Licensing

I recently acquired an account that has a Windows 2000 Terminal Server
running for their remote offices. The person that had the account previously
said that there were no additional Terminal Server licenses required because
all of the remote systems are running Windows XP Pro. He indicated that the
XP Pro had TS CAL's built in. Is this infact the case? If I add addtional
remote stations (running XP Pro) is there anything I need to do to keep
things
up-to-snuff? How do I tell if there are any TS licenses currently on the
system from past remotes that were running Windows 98? And finally, if I
add a w98 remote and there are no previous licenses, what must I do to get
everything done I need to?

Thanks in advance,

You can add as many XP Pro clients as you like, provided that you
have a W2K TS Licensing Server installed and activated (on your
Domain Controller). XP Pro and W2K Pro clients receive a free TS
CAL from the TS Licensing Server (they do *not* have a license
build into the client OS).
If you add W98 (or NT4, or linux, or Macintosh) clients, you need
to purchase a TS CAL for each of these clients.

Check in you TS Licensing Manager to sees the number of issued and
temporary licenses, and check the EventLog on your TS to see if
anything is wrong.
