I have a 2003 domain and a windows 2000 server that's an application server
/ts server.... the problem is that one of our 2000 servers which was the
ts lic server as well went down for the count. And I decided to install ts
lic server on another box which is a 2003 server. when I installed the ts
lic server I think I picked per user instead of per device. I call MS
support and there advice was to uninstall the TS lic server and reinstall
and make the correct selection. But I never got that option again. What
can I do....?
The reason I need this is because we have ts cal (20 user ) and we bought
them for the 98 and this clients users, which are about 17 of them
MS explain to me that 2000 serv does not know what and PER USER cal is, when
it goes to my lic server for a license. and instead my lic server
(w2003serv) give the requester a temp lic.
