TS clients freezing for a certain time

Hi there,

Some of the users freezes for a certain amount of time
and are normal again. When I see the graph of the
processor using the performance mmc the CPU usage is
normal abt 20%. Is there any reason for these freezing?
Could any one please give me a solution.

One question regarding this hot fix, can we install the
SP4 for 2000 instead of the hotfix?

Good question! The KB article doesn't make that clear at all.

No, this hotfix was released after SP4. The only indication for
that in the KB article is in the list of keywords at the bottom of
the article. It includes the keyword kbWin2000preSP5fix, meaning
this is a pre-SP5 (ie post-SP4) hotfix.

So you'll have to phone Microsoft Support and ask for it. Hotfixes
are free of charges.
