Windows XP Pro is an operating system, and Microsoft Office XP with Front Page is software
designed to use with that operating system. Your are confusing the Microsoft Office XP CD
with the Windows XP Pro CD. Find your Windows XP Pro CD and install the Windows XP
operating system from that CD.

Your system BIOS has to be configured to enable a boot from the Windows XP
install CD. Office and Front Page would not be included on a Windows XP
install CD. These are applications as opposed to operating systems. They
would be installed after the installation of the operating system.

Your putting the Office CD's in and not the XP CD in.
Those are two differenent programs.

Sounds like you simply used the wrong CD. You want to use the Windows XP CD not
the Office XP CD.

Uhh, uhm... I'm going out on a limb here... you're loading Office XP, not
the operating system. Office and frontpage are applications and have
nothing to do with XP. My suggestion is to make an assessment of all the
cd's you have with the letters 'XP' on them, and find out which one are
applications (ie office xp) and which one is the real operating system disc.
