I am trying to learn windows and I keep accidently losing
folders. When I double click my software programs, I
noticed the GameGhannel folder is gone. I also noticed I
have added icons to my software programs. I don't know
what I'm doing. I've used technical help on line and
asked about how to recover lost files.

Be careful when clicking not to move the mouse. If you are doing a maneuver
that involves click and hold, be careful to release the mouse button -
again without moving the mouse. Going too fast or having the mouse
sensitivity/spped set too high can result in unexpected moves and copying.

Use Control Panel> Mouse to adjust the mouse more to your liking. May want
to come back here later -- after your mousing is more consistent -- and
readjust again.

Just a note, that is one reason I prefer a trackball.

Get a good XP reference book. Use the XP Help command. Take an evening
course on Windows, many colleges and high schools offer them.
