This past week my XPS laptop started acting weird. First I couldn't log in to my University's wireless service, because you must be able to login to CleanAccessAgent. But the computer wouldn't let me. Later, I couldn't get online at all, even at home, and in checking my Task Manager, both drwtsn32 and kernel were running. Many of my normal startup programs failed to boot and now explorer won't even run. I tried switching to safe mode and could get online long enough to download AVG, but when I tried to install it, the computer cancelled out the installation. Now I can't even get explorer up in Safe Mode and on the off-chance that I can, it's only for a split second.
All I want to do is save my pictures and school essays to a Jump Drive, then I will completely start over with the computer. Anybody know why this happened and how I can save my files from being lost forever?
