I've been trying to run The Bard's Tale 'Tales of the Unknown' game which I
downloaded off the bard's tale online web site. I keep receiving the
following error message -

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

BARD.EXE
This system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose
'Close' to
terminate the application.

I have tried going to personalize > display settings and changing to 16 bit
colors.

I also tried going to personalize > display settings > advanced settings >
List All modes and tried all 16 bit and lower color schemes. No luck either
way.
