When I try startup Movie Maker, it comes up but then ends before I
can see any error. I am trying to reinstall it by going to
%systemroot%\inf and right clicking on moviemk.inf. The install
dialog box pops up asking for location of moviemk.ex_. I navigate to
the XP PRO SP2 install CD on D:\i386 where I see the moviemk.ex_
file, and press OPEN and then I get error "Cannot Copy moviemk.ex_" I
try RETRY. No luck.

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.
It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.
And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
