trying to reformat,,help!

i have tied to use my os disc but still have all the stuuff i had befoer,nothing is dumped,i have also tried to go from start,,then my computer,,then right click and then format and it tells me it cant format drive !!!!please help!

Go to the bios and set the cd as the first boot. Boot from the cd and
follow prompts for reformating and installation. Jym

You need to set the bios to boot from the CD. Then put the XP CD in the
drive and re-start the PC, follow the set-up process and delete the current
installation then create a new one.
