In Outlook 2007, I am trying to move e-mails from my inbox to a personal
folder. I get the error message, “Can’t move the items. The items could
not be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was
denied.” I have done this successfully before. Any suggestions?

Are you using an Exchange account or some other type of account? I'd first
try clearing the forms cache (see
http://www.howto-outlook.com/downloads/clearformscache.htm) and deleting
extend.dat in the (usually hidden) folder %UserProfile%\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (on XP) or
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Outlook (on Vista).

Moving the items means that the copy of that item is moved means that your item is shifted to the new location nad deleted from its original place. It means that your moved item is now in the deleted items folder. If your deleted items folder consists of any corrupted item then the error is occurred. To get rid of this error the you need to clear out your deleted items folder as it would remove all the corrupted items. If the error still continues then the last option is for inbox repair tool.
