I am trying to get the data off of 2 - 4 gig scsi drives
that were working fine in my old computer untill I moved
them to my new one. Both computers are Windows 2000
professional machines I used the exact same SCSI card. I
powered up and got "Hard disk d: not formatted. Want to
format it now." So I moved them back to the other machine
and now it doesn't recognise them. I have had this problem
in Windows 2000 before but didn't worry about it too much
because I ether had everything backed up or the drive
didn't have that much data on it. These 2 drives have data
from the last 3 years on them and I really need this
resolved. I know it's a Windows 2000 issue, but have yet
to find an answer. Any help greatly appreciated.

Well lessee....
All things being equal, I assume the drives are not part of a raid
array.....
I assume "the exact same scsi card" does not mean the same model but
the same chips on the same PCB that ran the drives before.

Are/were they dynamic disks?
