Hi,

Where does XP store the Outlook Express Newsgroups? I have spent an hour
looking through the entire C: drive, searching for the name, etc. and have
come up empty..

Shouldn't I be able to simply copy those folders onto the new machine
without having to go through the subscribing and downloading all over again?
(only I can't find 'em)

I was able to export the address book, but don't see an option to do the
same with the newsgroups.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks,
niteowl

Hi NiteOwl,

Dave has pointed you to directions on how to back up OE. Just to add, you
can find where the OE store folders are by choosing Tools > Options >
Maintenance > Store Folder... . It will show you where they are and also
allow you to change them to another location.
