Trying to install win 3.1 game to XP

I had an older pc that ran WIN 3.1 and I used to play this one game called
"Z", now I have a newer computer running WIN XP, the game installs
successfully but when I open it to play it wont come up..... any ideas on
how to fix this.... THANK YOU.....

Start - Help and Support - running older programs (or compatibility mode)
will walk you through. Also, check the manufacturer's site. Some have
patches or steps to take, others don't give any help.
