Trying to install RC1.

I hope some one can help. I have been trying to install RC1 but I can't seen
to get past the checking the system part. I get a screen that tells me that I
can't install RC1 because of windows Share Point services are installed.
Now this is a good trick, since I didn't install any share point
services????? I would sure like some help with this. I'd love to see what
vista can do.

Certain parts of Sharepoint Services may be there as a result of a Microsoft
Office installation, even though you didn't install Sharepoint itself.
Which version of Microsoft Office do you have?
 
Thanks for getting back to me. As far as what version of Office I am
using..... I'm back to 2003. I was using the beta of 2007 with the teck
release on it..... I know there must be a way to get rid of the SharePoint
services so I can atleast install RC1. But I'm stuck right now. If this is
faster you can contact me at leyland333 on hotmail.

Check Add/Remove programs. See if there is ANYTHING sharepoint related.

Also check your services just to see if there is anything there that is
running.
