Okay here goes: been tryin got get windows to allow me to use my NEW video
card for awhile but it doesn't want to let me. I bought a new power supply
and my motherboard supports it. Whne I put the card in it comes up on the
screen what card it is and then when it gets to the WINDOWS XP loading screen
it'll load abit and then it flickers and gets a purple tinge around the
writing. Then NOTHING. It just stays like that! I can hear it loading to
my desktop but I can't see it. It doesn't work in safe mode either.

I have been trying to uninstall my old drivers. I keep doing a search after
I have "SUPPOSEDLY" removed the drivers. There they are in the windows 32
folder DRIVERS. IS that my problem?

No it doesn't go black . It just stays on the Windows XP loading screen.
It usually has a little cursor that's runs across it when it is loading but
it's not there with it either. :(
