Hi all,
Where in the registry is the motherboard information? Does even exist in
there? I am writing
a program in which i need to get as much information about the motherboard
as posible. I know
how to get it using wmi, but wmi is not always reliable.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Much of it is not stored within the registry. My best suggestion
would be to use free (or paid) tools such as Everest HE (formerly
AIDA32)
http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en
or any of several others. This is the one I suggest you try.

There are several and various CLI programs that can produce more
limited information.
psinfo.exe
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/psinfo.shtml

compinfo.exe
http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/compinfo/compinfo.htm

and others.

Thanks Mark.
