Hi,
I have window's XP Pro and thought I could place the cd
in the cd-rom drive, then go right into the hard drive
format set-up, but I keep getting a message that the
computer can't find its hard drives. I have 2-40 gig
drives, and when I get out of the set up and it boots, my
data on the hard drives are still there and working. Is
there a work around? can I take an old windows 98 boot
disk and format that way? Can I try going thru the C-
promt program? What ever you decide, please explain
thouroughly since I am a novice. thank you so much and
happy thanksgiving weekend!

Hi, are the HD on raid or Sata? If so you'll need to press F6 right at the
start of installing XP and load the correct drivers from a floppy....
