I am trying to delete an old windows directory of vista but it is not
working because I seems not to have access to delete this directory.
I logged in as Administrator but it still not working, what do I have
to do to make it possible to delete this old windows directory?

Take Ownership of it. Currently "System" is the owner.

Hello Rob,

You need to take ownership of the files/folder. This is very similar to Windows XP and is outlined
in the following KB article:

How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308421

I am owner now, but it is still not possible to delete the directory
I have a installation of Vista on drive c and d
I want to delete it of d, but still not possible

Rob,

You will have to take ownership of the sub-folders and files within them.

When I take one file in a sub directory then I don't have a problem,
but when I take the whole directory then I have a problem. I can't
delete the sub folder .
