Trying to clear scan history freezes computer

Hi all
Anti spy message centre tells me that my scan history is
large and should be archived or deleted but as soon as i
go to the manage scan history page my computer locks up
and the dreaded hourglass appears.
Any ideas??

If you go inside the MS Antispyware folder, you will find
a file called "gcThreatAuditScanHistoryData.gcd"

By deleting this file, it will remove your history and
rebuild itself empty.

Not positive if anything drastic will happen if ya do
this, but it appears it is just a data file of previous
scans.

Thanks, Chad--I've seen no ill effects from removing various similar files
to achieve similar results--setting the checkpoints back to their initial
condition, for example. This is the kind of thing that may change radically
during the course of the beta, though--such storage structures and
undocumented "fixes" may disappear.
