Trying to change filesystem.

Hi,
Is there a way to change the default filesystem (FAT to NTFS) on the memory
card in my camera?
I have a Kingston DataTravel where I have change the filesystem to NTFS,
but the when I try to reformat the memory in my camera (from FAT to NTFS)
its becomes a no-go. The camera (NIKON COOLPIX P4) complians that the
memorycard is not format at all.

No. The cameras all use FAT and only FAT.
