Trying to achieve a cheap (higher) bandwidth internet connection

Anyone have any thoughts on combining a DSL and a cable connection.

My thought is to use a DSL line for outgoing traffic and the cable line for
incoming traffic. My network supports about 6 people on Citrix or RDP
connections and they may need to drag down some large files throughout
the day.

Is it possible to pick up a used Cisco router and tie the two lines together
in the manner I described above?

Thanks,

D.?

Don't think you can "split" it that way. There is hardware/software out
there for "ISP teaming" tho, which would allow both connections to be used.

Some of the SOHO Cable/DSL Nat Devices are designed to be able to use two
WAN connections and will do this in varying degrees. I believe Linksys has
some of those.

Thanks for the responses... I think I'll be able to do a bit more legwork
now that I've got a few angles to try...
