try to update nt4 to 2000

While trying to update a nt4 system to windows 2000, after
rebooting and while "installing devices" is running (about
60% done) the installation hangs up. Any suggestions!!

Not all hardware present in a Windows NT system may be compatible
for Windows 2000. Checked the Windows 2000 hardware compatibility
list? If the hardware is compatible, then consider doing a clean install of
Windows 2000.
 
Hi Ted,
You can also run Windows 2000 Setup with the /checkupgradeonly switch, to
identify any components (hardware and software) which are incompatible with
Windows 2000. If any are found, remove or update them as recommended by the
results of /checkupgradeonly, and try the upgrade again.
