Steve

Currently the company I work for setup 2 seperate domains

domain1.com
domain2.com

They are using different subnets, IP's & AD. The primary
goal is to link these 2 domains together so on the primary
domain1.com I can remote into domain2.com. Now domain2.com
doesnt need to see domain1.com, only domain1.com needs to
see domain2.com. I am fairly new at setting up trusts so
can someone please help me understand what I need to do to
set this up.

Thanks.

Steve,

A one way nontransitive trust should be ideal for the scenario explained.
However, I would recommened you to visit the link given below that has good
information on Trust Relationships in Windows 2000.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/en/advanced/help/default.asp?url=/windo
ws2000/en/advanced/help/sag_SEconceptsImpTrust.htm

A one-way trust is a single trust relationship, where Domain A trusts
Domain B. All one-way relationships are nontransitive and all nontransitive
trusts are one-way. Authentication requests can only be passed from the
trusting domain to the trusted domain.
