I'm using beta 2 version that was distributed at the Pro Photo Summit at
Microsoft. Did a new install. Dometime during last night, the program
"TrustedInstaller.exe" started hogging the CPU. I let it go for a while this
morning, but then tried to reboot. Vista began the shutdown process, but it
has been sitting for several hours with the message "Please do not power off
or unplug your machine" plus some obsured characters below that message that
are illegible.

I'm tempted to ignore the message and unplug the machine. But I thought I'd
check first whether there is a known bug with trustedinstaller.exe and
whether anyone else has suggestions.

Anything happens if you press Ctrl + Alt + Del? If it does try starting
the Task Manager and use that to kill of TrustedInstaller.exe. Or choose
reboot from that screen. Should that not work a hard reset is the only
solution.
