Hello everybody,
I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to create a trust relationship between two
Domain Controllers that reside in two different forests in my LAN:
server1.domain1.local and mailserver.office.finance.com.ve.
Server1.domain1.local runs Windows 2000 Server and the ARCServe backup
software.
Mailserver.office.finance.com.ve runs Windows 2003 Server and Lotus Notes.
I want to create a trust relationship that allows me to backup Lotus Notes
on my tape drive in Server1.Domain1.local
Every time I try to create the trust relation ship from
Server1.Domain1.local A message appears saying that it can’t not contact
Mailserver.office.finance.com.ve. The two servers reside in a LAN their IP
addresses are in the same scope.
Can somebody help me to troubleshoot this issue?
Thanks in Advance.
