That usually means that there is a problem communicating with the DC over
RPC. If there is a firewall between the two domains verify that RPC is not
blocked. You should also verify that the RPC service is running. RPC
errors can also be a result of incorrect information in DNS. Verify that
the DCs have registered the correct host, SRV and GUID records in DNS.
