Hello. I just bought a Trust MI-7500 mouse, but the scroll doesn't work.
Anyone with any experience with this?

if it came with drivers, use them. Otherwise, return the mouse and
exchange it for a working one.

I'd return it anyway if it needs drivers for something as basic as the scroll.
Thats going to be a pain in the arse with live CDs etc.

Not necessarily; I had an old USB mouse that needed drivers for the scroll
to work in windows, but worked 'out of the box' with SuSE 7.3.

What matters is whether it worlds out of the box with all the live CDs, including PE.

Since you can live without a scroll, and using a live cd will hopefully
only be a tiny portion of the overall use of the computer, it's not a
big burden.

I find it to be a complete pain in the arse to not be able to do what you usually do.
