I've had a look at my event logs, and have noticed than I'm getting loads
of TrueVector errors.
I have XP Home
Can anyone tell me what this error relates to?
TIA
Regards
Sheri

I have the exact same problem. When these errors occur the system hangs and has to be shut down and restarted. The event descriptions are as follows

1)TrueVector engine: Timeout on debug mute

2)TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB20.tmp". File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been deleted

3)TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt, restoring from backup "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\BACKUP.RDB"

4)TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\ACER-PLV5BVDZDL.ldb" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB21.tmp". File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\ACER-PLV5BVDZDL.ldb" was corrupt and has been deleted

5)The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( SaService ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SaService error: 0, Fail to start engine, please check your configuration.

After this sequence has been completed, the computer hangs

I had the same showing for the 4th February but I wasn't aware of it while I
was working on my computer. I mentioned it to Toshiba and more or less got
the impression only to worry about anything in there if I actually had a
problem while using the computer. I did wonder though.

I've reinstalled ZoneAlarm a few times but still get the True Vector errors.

On my system it seems to have something to do with Fast user switching.
