I have created a powerpoint slide show with clip art and transitions included. I have saved the presentation as a power point show (.pps) and then used pack n go including file viewer to send to my parents

Problem: Some of the transitions do not work (i.e., newsflash) and some of the clip art that I rotated is no longer rotated when I look at the presentation using file viewer. I can view the same file in powerpoint and everything is okay. Any suggestions on how to fix my problem would be greatly appreciated.

What version of PowerPoint are you using? PowerPoint 2002? If so, the
PowerPoint 97 Viewer doesn't support animations and transitions that are new
in PowerPoint 2002 and 2003. Newsflash is a transition that was added in
PowerPoint 2002.

Pack and Go uses the old PowerPoint 97 Viewer. A work around would be to
run Pack and Go, but don't include the Viewer. Send your parent
instructions on how to go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en
and download and install the new PowerPoint 2003 Viewer.

Then send them the presentation and ask them to open the PowerPoint 2003
Viewer and then open your presentation.

Yes, you can. But you'll need to install it on your system in order to
extract the 7 files. After you do that, you'll most likely find the files
in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer. Copy and move them
to your CD along with your presentation and any linked files.

Yes. In PPT 2003, the Pack and Go feature was replaced with a much better
one called "Package for CD". It builds just what you need, including all
linked files and the new viewer, in such a way that you can easily send the
information either directly to a CD (if that is built-in to your version of
Windows) or to a folder (all versions of Windows that run PPT 2003).
For some information on using the Package for CD features added in 2003,
