I have xp pro and it is hanging on startup. Is there a way to troubleshoot
it?

Mostly likely seems like a driver problem or something of
that sort, when did it start locking up on startup? you
could try a system restore, or you could also check your
logs in the event viewer under admin tools, that should
give you a pretty good idea.

I'd recommend letting it do a sucessful boot into Safe
mode tho.
