Hello,

Im running Win2k pro sp4 clients with a Windows 2000 server active
directory/

I'm trying to set Userenv logging using the following info:

To enable Userenv logging:

· Use the following registry key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

· Set: UserenvDebugLevel = REG_DWORD 0x10002

My question is this...I try to edit the value of the userenvdebuglevel to
make it 0x10002, however I am unable to set it. It does not allow me to
enter an "x" as part of the value. So I don't know how to make the
REG_DWORD value 0x10002. If someone is familiar with this setting, please
let me know how I can enable Userenv logging. Thank you!!!

0x is the notation for hexidecimal. Since registry values can be entered as
either decimal or hex, this makes it clear that the listed value is hex.
Just be sure the hexidecimal box is checked and enter the value without the
"0x".
