When I try to print my slides in greyscale or pure black and white the graphs
don't print the data lables, the value axis or category axis. I use both
PowerPoint 2003 SP3 and Office 2007

You can fix this in PPT 2003, but not in 2007.

In 2003, go to View | Grayscale (or View | Black and White).

A B/W Settings toolbar should appear.

Select the chart, then on the B/W Settings Toolbar, click Settings and then
choose an option. Often Inverse Grayscale works well for charts when various
text doesn't show up.

The change you make here does not affect your color slides -- it only
affects the settings for black and white printing.

If you don't see the B/W Settings Toolbar, you can right-click the chart and
choose B/W Settings, then select an option.

THANK YOU!
