OK. This is about the most bizzare Windows messenger problem I've ever had.
Anyhow, on this computer I have Windows Live Messenger installed on it and
everything works fine. But one day I signed on Windows Messenger on my
parent's computer and they got mad that I installed it on there. So I
uninstalled it. But now they're getting random IMs from my contacts even
though the program isn't even on there! And I get booted off of mine for
'being signed on another computer'. Does anyone know how to fix this? 0_0

Go into the control panels > users > click on the user and manage the
network passwords.

Remove the saved Passport from there.
Windows Messenger is booting up when the computer starts in the background -
and killing this should fix it.

Explains why the signed on another computer happens.
Normally you only see its active if you check the process tab of the task
manager or recieve a message
