I added some new pictures to my website from a CD. Some have been saved to
my computer because I had to shrink the file first. The problem is, when I
go to save the page with the new pictures, when it is time to save the
embedded files, I am getting this message: " Server Error: Cannot open file
for writing". Why is it saying this and what can I do?? I hope someone can
help me!

When you copied the files from the CD did you remove the read only attributes from those files

You should have imported the image into your current open FP web prior to using them in the web.

I did that, it's just not letting me save the embedded files. I haven't even
attempted to use them on the web yet, b/c they won't save.

If you copy the files from the CD to a folder, remove the read-only attributes, then import the
image into your current open FP web, then insert the image onto your page you will avoid the save
embedded image dialog altogether.
