My son is having problems connecting to the internet since he installed the
SP2 service pack. Can anyone tell me what information about his computer I
need and how I would use it to access his computer?

Thank You for any responses.

If he is having problems with SP2 and internet connectivity then you might have a hard time
accessing his machine.

With that said, if he is running XP Pro look at this page for guidance setting up and using Remote
Desktop for remote access/control. including firewall/NAT/router port information..

http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.org/RemoteDesktop/RemoteDesktopSetupandTroubleshooting.html

If he is running XP Home look at using UltraVNC... Get the server, client and encryption plug-in
from...

http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/

If he is behind a firewall/NAT/router then he needs to open TCP Port 5900 in order for you to
connect with UltraVNC.
