Hello:

I am using Norton Internet Security ("NIS") 2008, PGP Desktop ("PGP") 9.8
and SpeedFiler ("SF") all of which apparently listens to the event triggered
when a message is sent in Outlook 2007.

SpeedFiler's function is to automatically file email messages into the
chosen Outlook folders when a message is sent. SpeedFiler's addon function
fails to file about 50% of emails sent, apparently because it's not called,
most likely because of some conflict in the SENT event listener.

I have disabled the NIS's outgoing emails scanning, but still it doesn't
help.
How would you troubleshoot this problem? How can you determine if there is
a conflict in the listeners? What would you do? Have you encountered a
similar problem in the past?

You would need to uninstall Norton, use the tool on Norton site to
completely remove, then clear temp files & reboot, before you could further
troubleshoot your several problems.

I completely uninstalled the NIS, and installed Kaspersky Internet security
2009 but the problem remains. Not sure what's going on. Any advice?

http://www.claritude.com/support.htm? I mean, it's their tool that's failing
to function, I'd think they'd have the most insight as to how to fix it.

Did you use the intergrate with Outlook option?
You would need to uninstall any AV security that is intergrated, before you
can continue with diagnosis

I have done so but the problem remains.
