Hi all!
I have Realtek HD (integrated) and Echo Indigo IOx (ExpressCard) sound
cards. Indigo card plays only left channel despite of I didn't tweak it's
mixer. It works right on other computer, so I think, there is a problem with
sound setup on my notebook. Any ideas how I can fix it?
That appears to have an extra layer of complexity. It has both WDM
drivers (for Windows sound) or ASIO drivers. And it has some kind of
virtual outputs capability (a kind of mixer on output).

There is mention here, of the EchoAudio console being a separate
control from the Windows volume control. So perhaps you have to look
in two places, to find all the necessary controls ?

"Windows volume controls
The WDM driver supports the Windows volume control program.
When you run it (Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume control), you
should see a slider marked “Line volumeâ€. This is the same as the “Virtual Outâ€
slider in the console.
Adjusting the “Wave†and “Synth†sliders will set the volume levels for the Windows
kernel mixer, not the hardware. These settings are not the same as the volume sliders
in the console. The console sliders adjust the levels in the hardware; the Windows
volume controls are for adjusting the levels in the Windows mixer."
